New Beginnings

As many of you know by now, the family is relocating to Toledo, Ohio.
Dante starts school today at the University of Toledo and I couldn’t be prouder of him. He was accepted as a scholarship student and on the path now to his PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy). He’s out to make a difference for our family and the world.

LO starts school tomorrow. She’s excited about the fact that it is so close to our new house and can walk there. Her friends will mostly live in our neighborhood which is something she has always wanted. She says it looks like a castle and has already been assigned to her teacher. She will have uniforms, which is new to her, but I think will work out well in the long run. We should have no more morning grief when it comes to picking out the perfect outfit!  She’s already had a playdate with a girl there and had a wonderful time from what I gather. She even saw  a fox although it was dead. I’ve heard more about the fox than just about anything else. She was even surprised when her little aunt and uncle came up from Pittsburgh to see her!

The JrExecutive and I are still here in Arizona wrapping up work and the rest but we will join them soon and by February I hope to be settling into a schedule.  We took a hike yesterday with my mom, brother, and visiting aunt. I found out that I am completely out of shape, but thankfully, everyone else was ready to master Usury Pass like mountain goats. Uncle Will carried JrExecutive on his back in the babybackpack for the majority of the time. What a beautiful day! Without further ado, here are a few photos from our trek. I’d share video but my pathetic panting for breath is frankly embarrassing.

Very cool! So glad LO is excited – that makes the transition SO much easier. I hope the rest of this month flies by! <3

Once you are settled in, I think I shall have to drive over and visit you. I might even let The Mate come with! LMAO
