Twitter Caroling

This tradition of Twitter Caroling started three years ago now. It’s amazing to think that I’ve been on Twitter that long, but I am excited to be entering this season again. It’s the opportunity to fling virtual glitter that doesn’t have to be cleaned up to add a little sparkle, a little twinkle, a smile to someone else’s day. It was founded by Helen at @HelenAtRandom and she is leading the Merry Carolers forward once again. Each day, a different person is chosen as the “Carolee” and a song is selected. It can be religious or secular, funny or serious, or anything at all that would make the Carolee glad to hear. Then, all day, we #TwitterCarol them and post the lyrics @ them and on their blogs, Facebook, email, or however you communicate with them.

Today is the first day of our season. Join me in our tradition this year. In the comments, tell me who you think would be a good Carolee nominee and what song you think would work for them.

And here is your dose of glitter today (and yes, this is a real thing), Glitter Hoof Polish for horses: for your hoof polish needs

If my daughter sees that, she will insist on getting it for all of the mares at the ranch I volunteer at! She’s already they should have hot pink blankets for winter. :)

  2. Thrilled to be among the first to be twitter caroled today! Thanks for the blessing, and for being such a fine imaginary friend :-)

I LOVE the glitter for the hooves. Can you imagine how long it would take to paint on?? Not to mention this time of year when it’s muddy almost everywhere… what a mess! Haha.

Being a fine imaginary friend is my goal in life, aside from being a fine mom & spouse. :) Success! Thank you, Ginny.

    Zomgs, someone tell Michy!

  4. Tracie says:

    What a super fun idea!

And I love the glitter hoof polish. Genius.
