These are the now infamous Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Pretzel Cookies. I was inspired by a pin on Pinterest via  Sugar Cooking and made a few adjustments because I like chewier cookies.
So that you, too, can share in the salty, sweet, crunchy, chewy goodness that are these cookies, here is the recipe I used:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (12 ounce) package of peanut butter and milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup slightly crushed pretzels – I used the stick ones, but I think the goldfish ones would be really fun next time I make these
    Preheat oven to 375*F
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
    Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and broken pretzels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. (If using the goldfish cracker pretzels, I’d push a few in the tops of the cookies here)
    Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Cool on wire racks
